Glenpool Water Tower

Allocation: $1,540,641.00

This two-part project began with a master Water Distribution System Study in 2015 that evaluated the existing distribution system.  It addressed the need for a second water storage facility (tower) for anticipated growth in the south part of Glenpool, and also determine deficiencies north of 151st Street. The project was completed in December 2016.

The second part of the project consisted of the engineering, permitting and construction of a water tower in the area of 156th Street, east of US Highway 75. The project included the design and installation of water line improvements needed to tie-in the new water tower with the existing distribution system.

This project won an award from the American Public Works Association (APWA) in 2017.
