Bixby Downtown/River Corridor Master Plan and Land Acquisition

Bixby’s Master Plan includes enhancing existing public spaces as well as developing new areas. The Master Plan includes streetscaping and downtown park amenities, and covers the area between the Arkansas River and south side of downtown Bixby. The Master Plan was presented to and adopted by the City Council in January 2016.

The completed land use plan includes conceptual drawings for a boathouse, concessions, community center, library, new City Hall building, gateways, streetscapes, redevelopment of Charley Young Park and signature features for Bentley Park and downtown.
