Chandler Park Water Play Area

At the time of its completion, the splash pad was the largest in the state of Oklahoma. Site preparation for this significant project involved reinforcements to the park’s existing lagoon, a rain diverter, conduit and drain lines. In addition to the many water play features, the project included an equipment room, playground, picnic pavilion, restrooms, parking, lighting, irrigation and landscaping.

The Grand Opening was held July 26, 2019. Public response to Chandler Park’s splash pad was even more than expected, drawing both local and out-of-town visitors. In April 2023 USA Today listed it in its Readers’ Choice top 10 splash pads.
