Charley Young Event Park

This landmark park in the center of downtown Bixby now includes a new pavilion, playground equipment, a fountain, splashpad and new restrooms.  A host of new trees and sidewalks enhance the 80,000 square feet of the landscaped venue.  New parking spaces line the perimeter along with a power supply to serve food trucks during larger events.  The park’s multiple features not only draw visitors of all ages, but provide a variety of activities to suit almost any type of weather.

The project was completed in April 2017, and celebrated with a grand opening on May 13. The park is located east of North Cabaniss Ave. between West Dawes and West Breckenridge avenues.
