O’Brien Park Renovations

From land acquisition to batting and golf amenities, projects provided through the Vision 2025 program have greatly expanded O’Brien Park. A new splash pad and Rec Center renovation continue the growth.

The new ADA accessible splash pad replaced the antiquated swimming pool. The replacement allows for increased public use of the facility along with reduced operational costs.

The Rec Center renovation and its redesigned parking lot added to the list of improvements. The interior redesign included updated finishes, furniture, new sports equipment and a new entry. A canopy, new HVAC system, lighting and improved insulation were also part of the project. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening in the summer of 2018.
